Short answer: the Raising Cane’s survey code is a 16- or 18-digit number printed on your receipt next to the survey invitation. You type it at raisingcanes.com/survey to start the survey. There is no separate login, and the code is not a coupon — it is the key that opens one survey for that one visit.
Updated 15 September 2026 — the code expires in 3 days. Your receipt prints “(Expires in 3 days)” under the survey code. The official sweepstakes rules state no expiry period at all, so the receipt is the stricter source and the one to follow. Full detail on the three day window.
On the receipt
Where is the survey code on a Raising Cane’s receipt?
Look for the survey invitation text on the receipt — the part that mentions raisingcanes.com/survey — and the long run of digits printed with it. That run is the code. It may be printed in groups with dashes or spaces; you enter only the digits.
If the receipt has no survey invitation and no long number, that transaction did not carry a survey. It is not a mistake you can fix at the counter. You can still enter the monthly drawing by mail with no purchase; the address and card format are on the main guide.

Length
How many digits is the Raising Cane’s survey code?
Sixteen or eighteen. The survey page says so on its own code screen: “Please enter the 16 digit or 18 digit survey code from your receipt to begin.” Count the digits before you assume something is wrong — an 18-digit code is normal, not a printing error.
Refused codes
Why does the survey say my code is invalid?
Four causes account for almost every rejection. Check them in this order:
A typo
The digits 0/8, 1/7, 3/8 and 5/6 are easy to confuse on thermal paper. Re-read the receipt in good light and re-enter. Nine times out of ten this is it.
The code was already used
Each code opens one survey. If you started earlier and the page crashed after you pressed Start, the code may already be recorded. There is no reset.
The code is expired
The official rules do not publish a validity period, but they say expired codes are refused, and receipts can carry a respond-by date. Enter the code as soon as you can after the visit.
You are not on the real survey
Copies of the survey page exist. The real one is reached by typing raisingcanes.com/survey and shows “powered by Market Force” at the bottom.

Common misunderstanding
Does the survey code give me a free chicken finger or a discount?
No. This is the most common misunderstanding, and it comes from other restaurant chains whose surveys print a validation code for a free item. Raising Cane’s survey does not do that.
The only reward is entry into the monthly “Free Cane’s for a Year” drawing, described on the rewards page. No code, coupon or number is given to you at the end, and there is nothing to write on the receipt or show a crewmember.
Login
Is there a survey code login or account?
No. Searches for “raisingcanes com survey code login” are common, but there is no username, password or account. The receipt code is the only credential the survey uses.
The real survey asks for
- A language
- The 16- or 18-digit receipt code
- Your opinion of the visit
- Contact details — only if you opt into the drawing
The real survey never asks for
- A username or password
- A card number or payment
- An account sign-up to “unlock” a reward
- Your Caniac Club login
If a page asks for anything in the second column, it is not the Raising Cane’s survey — close it.
Rules
Can I use one survey code more than once?
No. One code, one survey. And under the sweepstakes rules, one person gets one entry per monthly drawing no matter how many codes they enter, so collecting receipts does not multiply your chances.
What if I ordered through the app or a delivery service?
App orders can produce an emailed survey invitation with a link instead of a printed code; use the link. Orders placed through third-party delivery apps generally produce that app’s receipt, not a Raising Cane’s receipt, and so no survey code — the free mail-in entry on the main guide is the route in that case.

My code has dashes on the receipt. Do I type them?
No. Type digits only; the survey page shows its own dashes between the four boxes.
The receipt is faded and I cannot read one digit.
Try the likely alternatives for that one digit (0/8, 1/7, 3/8, 5/6). If none work, that receipt cannot be used; enter by mail instead.
Can the restaurant give me a new code?
Codes are generated by the register with the receipt. Staff cannot issue one separately.
Is the code the same as the order number?
No. The order number is short and printed near the top. The survey code is the long 16- or 18-digit number printed with the survey invitation.
Does this website accept my code?
No. This is an information page only. Enter the code only on the Market Force page reached from raisingcanes.com/survey.
